How old do you have to be to serve alcohol and to be served? That is the question which often asked by youngsters. Each countries have different laws to about this. For example, Greece laws prohibits servers to serve youths under 18 years of age in on-premises places, but there is no age limit if someone buys alcohol in off-premises places. Most states allow someone age 18 or older to serve alcohol drinks. Only one state allows 17-years old youths to serve alcohol which is Maine. Three states require on-premises servers have to be 21 before they can serve liquor. All the underage servers are allowed to serve only beer, not other hard liquors and a supervisor must be present when their underage employees do their job.
